A two‑day national forum where doctoral scholars, supervisors, young faculty and industry researchers present and stress‑test ongoing research — across seven tracks, on the theme of AI and Technology Management.
Hosted on the historic campus of IIT Kharagpur, at the Vinod Gupta School of Management — two days of research, critique and conversation, on ground that has shaped Indian management scholarship for decades.
MDC brings doctoral scholars, supervisors, and expert panels together to sharpen research at every stage — from early conceptualisation through to pre-submission review, culminating in presentations before an academic panel. Each track shortlists only five papers by design: a smaller, carefully reviewed cohort that allows every scholar deeper engagement time with the panel and a genuinely competitive, high-calibre final round.
FinTech & digital finance, AI in investments & asset pricing, algorithmic risk management.
AI-driven consumer behaviour, digital & data-driven marketing, marketing analytics & automation.
Smart supply chain & logistics, AI in process & quality management, technology-enabled service ops.
IS strategy & AI governance, data science & analytics, digital transformation.
Cross-disciplinary research and emerging interdisciplinary themes. Online track for international participants — runs on both days.
Strategic management of technology, innovation & AI economics, applied digital economics.
HR analytics & AI talent systems, digital leadership & culture, technology-enabled org. behaviour.
Seven finalists — one shortlisted, best-reviewed paper per track — present before an expert academic panel. The best paper presenter in each of the 7 tracks is honoured with a memento and a Best Paper Certificate at the valedictory session, with all other shortlisted presenters receiving certificates of participation.
All fees are inclusive of GST, as applicable.
Provided by VGSoM, only for the seven shortlisted outside presenters — one per track.
