Any educational journey is only impactful if it helps someone to get transformed in the right
direction and that is exactly what VGSoM has done to me. It has helped me to evolve as a
human being and be the better version of myself. Extremely flexible course curriculum at VGSoM
encouraged me to freely explore electives of my choice and this academic openness made
foundations for me to pursue research later. One of the most important lessons that I learned at
the classrooms of VGSoM is to see a problem from the vantage point with various perspectives and
this in particular, I’ve found to be very crucial during my entrepreneurial journey. I am extremely
grateful for everything to the entire fraternity of VGSoM and IIT KGP with whom the relationship
has only grown stronger over the years.

VGSoM provides avenues for 360 degree growth, utilizing the perks of the IIT system to the fullest.
The industry-relevant pedagogy and the opportunity to work on excellent research projects
ensured that all students honed their skill sets to the fullest. We were encouraged to participate
in different case study competitions, quizzes and other events conducted both within IIT & other
top B schools and by major industry players. It opened up new doors to learn and compete at the
highest level. I am thankful to VGSoM, the faculty members, and my wonderful batchmates who
made the MBA experience brilliant.

An institute plays a big role in shaping the career of a person. After pursuing an MBA from VGSoM,
I feel the same. The curriculum has been planned in a way that it provides an in-depth knowledge
into various domains, where students are free to carve their paths by choosing their preferred
electives. In spite of pursuing most of the course from home due to COVID-19, the professors
have always been there for us. In addition, the last semester provided me an opportunity to not
only meet my batchmates in offline mode, but also participate in various extra-curricular activities
like performing arts and sports. I am grateful to the VGSoM and IIT fraternity for everything. I feel
proud to call myself an alumni here.
