extensively. The curriculum, tailored to industry needs, coupled with engaging research initiatives,
ensured each student refined their skills thoroughly. Active involvement in diverse case study
competitions, quizzes, and events hosted not only within IIT but also in other prestigious B-schools
and major industry forums broadened our learning horizons and competitiveness. This experience
provided opportunities to excel at the highest echelons. Gratitude to VGSoM, the esteemed faculty,
and my exceptional peers for an enriching MBA journey.

projects. Peer group at VGSoM is a smorgasbord of people from diverse industry background and
experience who help you learn and grow consistently. Our faculty here comes from different walks
of life with rich industry and academic experience. VGSoM is truly a doorway for bigger and better

I joined VGSOM without any work experience and the decision to study MBA in Kharagpur which isn't a
metropolitan city was daunting however it was the best decision I made. Being away from a metropolitan
turned out to be an advantage, a humbling experience allowing students to focus on the learning without
distractions. The suggestion from my peers prior to joining VGSOM that many blue-chip companies may not
come to campus for placements given Kharagpur is remote turned out to be wrong with several Blue-chip
organizations very keen to hire from VGSOM. MBA at VGSOM isn't only about learning subject matter from
books, it provides a great opportunity to work on case studies, projects collectively with students from all over
India. The clubs and communities at IIT Kharagpur helped form a camaraderie amongst the students and
allowed us to organize several events like entrepreneurs raising funds, planning and running events. These
skills which I learnt working with students at VGSOM still help me in my career. The MBA course at VGSOM isn’t
only an academic one but a life enriching experience.
