Prof. Barnali Nag Ph.D. (IISc, Bangalore)

Energy Economics and Policy, Economics of Prof. M. Vimala Rani obtained her Ph.D. in
Climate Change, Development Economics Operations Management from the Indian
and Policy Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. She
has received a Gold medal and the Best
Prof. Barnali Nag did her Ph.D. from IGIDR, Ph.D. thesis award from the council of IISc.
Mumbai and her MA in Economics from JNU, After her Ph.D., she worked as IISc Research
New Delhi. She was a Visiting Scholar at Wharton Associate for one year at the Department of
Business School, University of Pennsylvania, Management Studies, IISc. She also worked
for Post-Doctoral Research. She has worked in as an Assistant Professor at Amrita School of
RIS, New Delhi, an advanced research institute Business, Bangalore. She teaches Production
for actionable research under the Ministry of and Operation Management, Supply Chain
External Affairs, GoI. Before joining IIT, she Management, Quantitative Techniques-1,
was a faculty of Economics at IIM Kashipur. Spreadsheet Modelling and Programming
Her research interests are Energy Economics for Business. Prof. Vimala's research interest
and Policy, Economics of Climate Change, and is in developing mathematical and heuristic

award by Emerald, and another received the

Prof. Rudra P Pradhan has over a decade
of teaching and research experience. His Applied Operations Research
research interests include Infrastructure Prof. Vinay worked as an Assistant Professor at
Finance, Foreign Direct Investments and IIM Jammu, Visakhapatnam and Marie Curie
Econometric Modeling. Prof. Pradhan Postdoctoral fellow at the Technical University
has published several research papers in of Denmark before joining IIT Kharagpur. He
various national and international refereed earned his master's and a doctoral degree
journals. from IIT Bombay, Mumbai, and his Bachelor's
degree from Banaras Hindu University,
Varanasi. His expertise includes optimization
under uncertainty, interval analysis-based
operations research techniques, and
environmental management.
