Programme

To acquaint the students with the ever-evolving global business scenario, VGSoM, IIT Kharagpur has initiated International
Immersion programme with Singapore Management University. 17 MBA and 8 E-MBA students participated in the 1st
edition of the programme to embark on a journey of practical learning through projects with companies like Lendingkart,
GSK, Citibank, DBS and BondEvalue.
The programme included lectures which were delivered by faculties and industry stalwarts. Along with theoretical discussions,
real life industrial problems were also brainstormed upon. Insights into practical hurdles and their solutions helped the
students understand the methods to analyse a problem and ways to solve them. The panel discussion involved eminent
dignitaries like:

The primary objective of the international immersion programme was to
develop industry leaders who not only foster the growth of the global economy,
but also ensure that sustainability is incorporated and established.
